Audiological Science specialise in providing quality hearing care services in the UK, including but not limited to hearing assessments, wax removal, hearing aid fittings, maintenance and repairs. We supply hearing aids from leading worldwide hearing aid manufacturers, serving both NHS patients, and private patients at below market prices.

Our fully qualified clinicians are registered health professionals and are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
 

How we collect information from you

So we can provide you with our services, we need to process your personal data. We will collect data from you when:
 

  • You provide us with your details to arrange an appointment with us, including but not limited to a hearing assessment or wax removal appointment.

  • You purchase our products and service or those provided by our service partners.

  • You take an online hearing assessment through our website.

  • You sign up to receive our newsletter.

  • You interact or mention us online to make customer enquiries or statements including through social media, or our web chat/web messaging functionality.

  • You register for and account, information or other services.

  • You register a complaint.

  • You message us via an instant messaging platform. Please note third party instant messaging tools will be subject to their own Privacy Policies and we advise reading them before choosing to contact us via those platforms.

The personal information we process, if you provide it to us, may include:
 

  • Your name, date of birth, title, postal address, telephone number and email address.

  • Information about your use of our Customer Support Team Call Centre and your clinic visits.

  • Information about your health and whether you are currently a hearing aid user, if you register for a hearing test with us, take our online hearing test, give us information about your hearing in clinic or during a home visit, call our call centre or purchase a hearing aid from us.

  • If you purchase from us, your credit or debit card details are not held by us and will be processed by our payment service provider, who specialise in secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. All payment details are encrypted and your details will not be shared with any third party.

 

How we process and store your information

We only use the information you give us to provide you with hearing care, process any order you make and to provide you with aftercare. We treat all information in strict confidence and all information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain features or parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
 

The data that we collect from you is processed by staff who work either for us or for one of our service providers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services.
